None. New officials are trained from the ground up. If you already have officiating experience, MOA will help you continue developing and work toward higher levels of play.
Rules and their application, plate and base mechanics, positioning, game management, communication with coaches and players, and how to handle situations calmly and consistently.
A standard umpire uniform plus protective gear for plate work. Training covers exactly what to buy and in what order — you do not need everything on day one.
Officials set their availability in the assigning system, and games are assigned based on availability, experience and level of play. You control how much you work.
